I ordered this to see if you could soundproof a podcast studio -
if you bought enough of them. It will definitely work as a buffer , it will not completely soundproof ,
but it’s still better than nothing.

We noticed a slight change by putting them inside of my closet along one wall and going into the closet and screaming really loud- you could still hear it , it was somewhat muted - these are helpful to have.
I’m not convinced that you can soundproof a room unless you build it that way from the ground up or pay someone big bucks to do it. These will help , if you don’t have the money to do that but still need to do something in a music room , loud apartment space or a podcast room. I will be experimenting with these. Doubling them up and buying more to use with other supplies to see what works.

These are good panels, lightweight, and easy to hang. I just wish I had read the description better. I saw 4 pcs and 24"x24"x2", and I thought each panel was 24" tall and wide. That is the TOTAL measurement if you arrange them in a two-by-two square. Each panel is actually 12" tall and wide. You're buying 4 square feet, not 16.

I'm using these for diffusion, which makes a huge difference. They're a rubber styrofoam material. I have some in white and some in black. I would suggest the white if you're into really modern decor. The black is more subtle.

They're heavy-duty and stable and light. There's an adhesive backing as well.

This is my second unit set. It’s a bit expensive for the price and size. However it works great and is worth the money. It is thick and has an irregular design, that can trap more sound than the regular flat or crate design. Good product.

I quite like the fact that they function as a great visual piece in addition to helping with acoustics. I actually have some spotlights shining on them with color options for effect and they look great!
